Yep, but the problem begin when you are in a big project, switching from
apps is very frustrating. And 3D compositing is becoming a MUST . And it is
incredible that Eyeon, not being a 3D soft company likes Softimage / AVID
is, already have such a good 3D environment, loading 3D objects and
textures, and DS that is part of a company with a really good 3D soft like
XSI do not have it. It is like my mother use to say in Spanish, "en casa de
herrero, cuchillo de palo" . It is something like : "at home of blacksmith,
wood knife" I don?t know if that make any sense in English.

You would hope that with v8 we'll have a better 3d environment than the
current tool/box. But I don't even if it does, it'll be a usual buggy
situation.
C* is good. Does the job. Yes I hate export and importing too, but use an
avi ref out of ds and into DS, on the same box, and you'll be good to go,
just don't have both open.. At least not while using the same media.
