Ed, My memory is foggy, but I seem to
remember that the affected clips had their inpoints a little close to a time
code or control track break. I have no idea why this would be the case –
maybe it was a coinkidink. But moving the inpoint forward a bit prior to
recapture helped. ____________________________ John Heiser Avid DS Editor o2ideas From:
owner-ds(at)Softimage.COM [mailto:owner-ds(at)Softimage.COM] On Behalf Of Ed Fraticelli That is the strange thing here. The editor
claims the clips was purged and recaptured, twice, and we still have the same
problem. Maybe something sick in the sequence? I plan to check this out myself, later
today or Wednesday. Thanks! Ed From:
owner-ds(at)Softimage.COM [mailto:owner-ds(at)Softimage.COM] On Behalf Of John Heiser I’ll confirm the need to recapture.
It’s been a long time since this has happened to me and I think
it’s because of Equinox board mods and/or codec changes after v6. ____________________________ John Heiser Avid DS Editor o2ideas From:

re-capture. I had this problem on a regular basis on my Equinox system
before upgrading to 7.5. There are certain compressions that are just
more trouble than they are worth. On 9/26/05, Ed
