From the DS Support Console:
Andi

*The color are incorrect when using the HD Monitor output. *

Improper settings for Color Space: In Avid DS go to Output Tool >
Video Output > HD Analog Out > Color Space and verify the selection
between RGB or YCbCr until you get the proper result.

Pat,

MY WFM is a SD one, so I can't check both values.

But I found a big difference in the WFM comparing
Nitris-----> Digi vs Nitris----->HDVTR--Donconvert--->Digi

But I must go today for 8 days, and I can't test anymore until I come back,
but all of you see the HD an SD outputs in the same level of luma? I'll try
to check in another Nitris when I come back!

Nacho

Surely you have a waveform monitor and check the levels at each stage to
find out where the error is?
The route you describe below has a number of steps that may be interfering
with the level (like the down-convert)

Guys,

I can see that the SD output from Nitris is darker than the HD output.

To test it I outputted from Nitris to Digibeta and then to HD
VTR and = downconverted from there to Digibeta and the first
one is darker than = the second one. Anyone knows why?

I'm worried about this because we did a whole series of 9
short films in = HD and we have to deliver HD and SD copies
and both should look the = same.

Thanks for any help,
Nacho

PS: If the question is why didn't I output to HD and then
downconvert = from there, the answer is that the DC from the
HDW2000 looks worse than = Nitris one. If anyone knows of any
setting I should change in the = HDW2000 pls advise me!!!!
