Pinnacle got the big boost with a DVE called Alladin (I still have it). It was the first cheap and smart product that combined ordinary computers with special hardware. This was very early when computers started to make inroads into editing equipment. From this followed that Pinnacle continued to concentrate their business with production of computer cards.

Boy -- #1 is certainly one thing I agree about 1000%. What did Pinnacle ever do on their own? Everything was either purchased or stole, and then screwed up.
