Here is something fowarded to me from the XSI list.
It is from a new XSI user who says,
"So I decided to read a little about the history of
the company, and came across something called
Softimage|DS.
I was wondering what happened to it, or why XSI didn't
go more down the intergrated route like DS was? Was it
axed when Avid bought the company so it wouldn't
compete with its existing tools, or wasn't it very
good to start with?"
It made me smile, although with the current threads on
the list here it also made me cringe :-/
