Slate at head. Never tail.
The
order means to say:
10
Seconds of black at lead and end.
Full
Slate (prob 10 seconds with countdown).
Hi Murf,
Mark is correct, the slate goes up
front. The delivery should be Bars and Tone until 59:40:00. 10
seconds of black, then countdown slate at 59:50:00 until 59:58:02 for 2
beep. Spot starts at 1:00:00:00 and 10 seconds of clean black to follow,
but just run out the black a bit for safety. They need clean black at
tails so that there are no level shifts between spots. Because of
the lighting at night and daylight, it will be easy to see shifts of luminance
on a screen like that.

Hi
All,
Finally completed my spot that will air in Times Square on the NBC
Astrovision screen!
They want:
NTSC Format - 10 second black lead and end full
slate
I
assume that means:
NTSC Format. 10 seconds of black lead in. 10 seconds of
black lead out. Do they want the slate at the head or tail? I
would usually put it at the head. Anyone else ever deliver to NBC
Astrovision? Can you shed some light for me?
TIA,
Murf
