Hi Larry,

No easy way to do that afaik.  If you turn off crop curves and paste the effect onto a 10sec clip the fades will 'stretch' along with the effect - making them 24f up and down.

Here's one method.  Select all the clips and select Video Effects--Fades--Key Fade Out.  Then, one by one, select those effects and select the duration box at the bottom of the screen and enter -12. Then do the same for Key Fade In making the duration 12.  It's messy, but it works.

I can't think of a way to use an _expression_ either.

Sorry.

Regards,
Tone :)

Help.
I have a bunch of tiff files as titles and I built a tree with alpha fade in and out. The clip I built this on was 5 seconds long. Now I want to copy that effect to all my other tiffs of varying length keeping my 12 frame in and out effects. This is what I tried... Saved effect with cropped curves checked, then pasted on 10 second clip. Up is fine but it fades out at 5 second point. I then tried pasting 5 second effect and stretching it out to 10 seconds. All that did was extend nothing to the end.
So what is the proper way to cut and paste this effect over multiple lengths keeping my tile fade up[ and down the same. Thanks so much..
