With a GigE connection there's really very little lost by having the software on a separate platform... and a lot to gain.  Keep the DS lean and clean.

It?s strongly recommended to install other softwares on another machine, as far as I?m concern, Fusion or Monet did not conflicts with DS, as far as I know.

Are there any known conflicts with running another compositing package on a DS workstation ie. AfterEffects, Fusion etc.
