Avid is happy to announce the release of Avid Xpress® Pro HD v5.2 for Windows
XP as a free upgrade for customers who have registered their Avid Xpress Pro HD
v5.x product with Avid. The download (http://www.avid.com/register/xprohd_cpr.asp)
consists of the Avid Xpress Pro HD v5.2 installer, ReadMe file and Goodies
folder.
The PC-based Avid Xpress Pro HD v5.2 release brings new and exciting support
for multiple native High Definition Video (HDV) project types. The Avid Open
Timeline can now easily mix and match DV, DV50, uncompressed SD, DVCPRO HD, Avid
DNxHD and HDV in real-time. With Avid Xpress Pro HD v5.2, you can plug in,
capture and go. Both 1080 and 720 HDV formats are handled natively. No
intermediate formats and no transcoding mean maximum quality in minimum
time.
This is a software download only release. Your Avid Xpress Pro HD v5.x
product must be registered with Avid prior to accessing this download. To
