I recently did a project that was shot in slo mo and transfered to 1080i at 59.94 frames per second. The client wanted the footage to run at real time. I wound up using the 3:2 contract before speeding up any footage to get rid of the pull down. The footage looked fine sped up but it looked like interlaced video. I tried the 3:2 expand after the timewarp to see if that would work and it didn't.
Is it possible to capture a 1080i transfer to a 1080p to get rid of the 3:2 pulldown? At least thats the way I have done it with adrenaline on NTSC projects.
