I am using a small bit of it now in a film. 1080p 23.98 project that will end up on film. Most original footage is film and HDCam. HDV was converted to HDCam 1080i and then input into DS thru Teranex conversion to 1080p 23.98. Anything with the slightest bit of movement is riddled with artifacts. Its not so bad in 1080i but DVX100a blown up to 1080p would have been much better.

Has anyone worked with HDV footage in DS? (without an analogue conversion)
