... just a few things:
- battery life is not even close to what they claim
- scratches VERY easily
- headphone jack input on the iPod craps out after a month ... the
connectors inside the iPod loose connection
- iPod settings do not seem to persist
- if the battery is half full or less it takes it forever to boot up
- there’s always a gap between the songs (great fun with live albums)
- had to restore the system software on the iPod 3 times already
because it got corrupted
- my 6 yr. old Panasonic CD Walkman had better skip protection

speaking of iPods ... I’m on my second one now and they are the
biggest POC ... ever ... the only 2 reasons I purchased the first
and the second one are #1: iTunes being a fantastic and dead-easy
piece of software to use and #2: there really is nothing out there
that would compare with the iPod as far as features/ease of
use/look & feel are concerned.

If you haven't checked out the itunes 6.0 with video, you should,
also,
quicktime 7 allows you to encode video to play on your ipod video,
hence, what an awesome way to carry around your demo reel!
