Yup, put the container inside another container.

Goodness, Chris.

Step outside the container to the timeline and then select the container and make another one. Boy it’s hard to put that in words.

Ah, and they continue... This will drop off soon I promise:

Okay, I have a container. Some effects are on the tree, some as layer effects, some as clip effects on the clips. But I realize that I really need all this to be nested inside another container to treat it as a whole.

I select the clips and make a container, but all the FX stay in the previous container leaving the new one useless. In AE when you "Pre-comped" a handful of layers it gave you the option to leave the effects in the current comp or take them to the nested comp.

How do I do this in DS? What do you do when you realize you need all of the work you did nested one more layer deep?
