Attaboy Serge!

It will be a pleasure to watch your work. Can you be more specific as to what time it will air in the Mountain Time Zone?

Howard

I’m extremely proud to announce the broadcast of a 3 hours mini-Series on Lifetime Channel next week called Human Trafficking.

I did the online HD conform and all the special visuals effects. The movie was shot in Montreal, Czechoslovakia and Bangkok and had a budget of 12 millions US.

Originally they were supposed to do all the effect in a Flame, but we managed to talk them to do it on the DS and as a backup we said we could use Flame for the more complex shots. Well I managed to do ALL the compositing, green screen and tracking in DS. I’ve worked 300 hours and more during the past 4 months, on over 400 hundreds shots that needed some form of effect. From recreating a sunset in Manilla to compositing moving cars and adding NY buildings on moving Montreal shots, adding blood splash in scene were a man an woman get shot in the head,  to removing bags under Miro Sorvino eyes throughout the entire show! The keying was very tough because the movie was shot on Super 16mm and then transferred to HDcam and for some very tricky shots, they were transferred on HD SR. I’ve used Keylight for all the green screens and it gave me incredible results. There was a massive amount of tracking because 95 % of the show was shot hand held or Steadycam to give it a more realistic mood and most of the shots had no tracking arrows……

This has been in my 16 years career the most complex and challenging job I had to do and at the same time the more gratifying.

I hope the response from the audience will be good, even if it’s a tough movie to watch.

I objectively think it’s a very good mini-series that brings attention to the terrible subject of Human Trafficking.
