Sounds like a whacked BIOS. Check the HP troubleshooting pages for

Subject: RP won't boot
I have the HP 8200 as my RP machine and when I came in this morning the
darn thing wouldn't boot. All it does is blink an amber light (where the green
power light is) 9 times then pause and then blink again.
Any clues? Called Tewks Support andt their answer was, "Never seen
that before." Great.
Have to show a director something in 4 hours...and I still need to build
it. I can work without the RP, but it's VERY slow and I'm not sure if everything
saves correctly.
