Phil,

To determine which drive you can use the avid storage utility. It will
tell you which drive is bad. And you can use the identify, and the
drive will flash for you. I feel your pain. Today I came in and another
drive was dead. Called avid, have a new one coming tomorrow. Then I'll
have to restripe and redigitize footage.

Howard, I'm not sure how to determine which drive doesn't come up.
Windows just reports that 7 drives are available for the stripe, when I
go to import foreign drives. Is there a way that I can tell which one
isn't coming up?
