Pioneer LX-1 and DS

Guys,
Ive seen some chatter about the Pioneer LX-1 on the
list in the past. I know it has RS-422 capability.
Does anyone control it successfully from the DS and
can you "master" directly to it? Will the DS recognize
it as an outputable vtr? How do you set an in-point?
Is there a DS deck configuration that the DS will
recognize? Or do you have to crash record it? Can you
control it as a "source" vtr from the DS? Sooooo many
questions! Sorry.

We're looking hard at purchasing one. I know I could
ask a rep but I want to make sure of it's capabilities
from actual DS users.
