Subject : best way to rough mix on Nitris
I'm a first time Nitris user. I've been offlining/onlining an HD series on a Nitris DS for about 2 months. One problem that I've encountered is with audio. I'm used to rubber banding on the avid where I can add key frames right on the timeline to ramp up music or SOT for a particular clip. On the DS I've only been right clicking the clip and adding an audio effect (gain). This works, but I've encountered problems when i export omf's to my mixer and I don't have the control i want. I get how to lower track volume, but don't know the best way to effect volume for a particular clip. Any suggestions for doing a rough mix on the Nitris?

Thanks,

Nelson
