OK, so who's going to jump with us? ship that is. paul and i have had this discussion, as i'm sure several of you have, about the real reason why FCP isn't the mainstay in most places.. if you don't already know, then do some research. i would love to see that fact change, cause frankly, i am getting tired of making excuses, esp whenit's always being compared to FCP or , like the previous email from scott, just about everything else does everything else.

Ya know...the description below is the biggest seller (to ME) for learning/purchasing FCP.  I have been avoiding RE-learning FCP (used it back in the day...v1.2) for many reasons, but after reading Scott's description of WHAT you can purchase to do whatever flavor of editing, it only makes sense to invest in FCP.
 
I want to say it's a shame...but I think it's because I feel (now) that Avid really is watering down their product instead of bringing them together.
