At PMI we have a DS-HD system and another older DS at Version 4.

We use a few boxes of Speed Six plugins and Boris FX. I agree with Andy
that Boris is great when we need type effects and 3-D text. Many useful
presets and a UI that is fairly easy to learn and work with. I always
have wanted the Foundry plugins, but they cost too much!

We also use the requisite Photoshop and Cleaner, of course. We also
have a separate DVD workstation with a hybrid of old Spruce Technologies
Mpeg Encoder hardware/software and Adobe Encore for DVD Authoring.

This could be interesting. I'd like to know who uses what on their DS
systems - and how it improves their workflow. Or if & how it has
caused problems... Are anyone running Fusion on their DS? How about
XSI, Maya, Xpress, PremierePro, Vegas, Combustion, Silouette Roto etc
etc?

My own DS setup currently has only:
Photoshop
Illustrator
After Effects
Encore
Squeeze
Procoder
Plus various system tools for simple tasks; Transtype for font
conversion, iView for image file management etc.
