Yeah… I have a lot of things installed on the laptop… but non of them are crap… I don’t even have games.. I would like to have an OS that do not limit the amount of things I can install.. Any way I think I’m about to fresh install all again.. I have way much more than 20 processes.

Do you have only 20 processes on your DS? I’m checking on mine and I have like 35.. And I do not have any crap on it

Victor,

Sounds like you have too much crap installed on your laptop. After you boot up, how many processes are running?  You should target 18-20 processes upong bootup.  If more than that, then you need to do some un-installing, and killing of services.

Probably in the DS where you have only one application installed, it works
fine. But in my laptop where I have a lot of things, and in the other
machine I have at my side, that also have more applications. Things are very
slow some times, icons in the desktop are always flashing and reloading, and
the interface is boring and old. And don't even talk about all the security
problems and virus around that some times even the best antivirus can't
catch on time.

Hope Vista gets better. I think if MAC opens the new OSX to the rest of the
Intel community can be a big problem for Microsoft... Probably will force
Microsoft to make thing better. What you think?
