True, unless you have been lucky enough to not upgrade to 7.6. If you are 
still running 7.5 after you've conformed and captured the converted edl, 
open the original 29.97 conform. Select all clips on all tracks and copy to 
the clipboard. Open the 23.98 cut and paste to new tracks. The 29.97 clips 
will convert to 23.98 time and all of the footage will automatically link 
up. Now for the trickiest part, mute the tracks that have the pasted 29.97 
clips on them. The Nitris acts strangely when it encounters a frame above 24 
in a 23.98 cut. You can either copy the effects from the 29.97 clips down to 
the 23.98 tracks, or match frame and replace edit all of the 29.97 clips.

This functionality has been broken in 7.6 unfortunately. It may even be 
beneficial to uninstall 7.6 and re-install 7.5 just to perform the above 
conform. Once you have the 29.97 clips on the 23.98 timeline you could 
re-install 7.6.
