Awhile back, someone had posted a help message whereby they inadvertently hit
a button and could not see any video play or hear audio scrub and it was a simple
icon on the monitor somwhere.
I seem to have hit that button. What was that again.
Secondly, while looking for that mysterious button, I notice that my DMS brokering icon
is grey. I am running a standalone sytems, but on a network. Everything seems to work
OK and I can see networked drives. I looked in the manuals to no avail.
What is this and do I need it?
OK I lied, a third. My audio guy ( Pro Tools ) is asking why I don't want my audio at 24 bit
now that I have DS. I seem to recall issues when making Quicktimes and AVI's if the
audio is 24 bit. Could someone refresh my atom sized brain why this is so and should
I be working at 24 bit. If I do, what is the workaround to make QT and AVI's.
