We are doomed.... hahahaha, haha, hasnif, sniffffffffffffffffffff!!!!
I'm testing XSI 5, and I can't believe what XSI is becoming, IMHO if DS could inherit 50% of XSI developmente speed we could go to the top!

Well, that's double the number that I thought were working on it ;-)

Actually, Serge didn't state that there were only two devs working on DS.

Not at all.

Definitely not.

He just hinted at it ;-)

Great job BOB! You're the King of Presets!!! Thank you to share with us poor mortals your knowledge.

only there was a team of

developers working on DS....

Well Tone, 2 persons in certain sport categories are considered a team!

;-)

Hi Bob,

I don't actually have any use for that preset myself, being in PAL land as I

am, but I'd like to say THANK YOU :)

Now, if one person can make such a beast using standard DS effects then just

think what a team of developers could do... If only there was a team of

developers working on DS....

Thanks again,

Tone :)

Because I am bored, I came up with a preset that will remove "24p Advanced"

pulldown from a clip.. basically using a graphics effect with panels of

'clone'.  It's not exactly a timewarp, you'll have to trim your clip's

duration down manually, but it's at least better than making 100 edits on

your clip to remove the flicker frames yourself!

You can find the preset at the DS Preset X-Change on http://mixeffects.com

Just apply it to your clip starting on a mixed-field frame, and it will

remove the pulldown from up to a 10 second piece of source material.

I only have one piece of 24pA footage handy right now, but I tested it and

it seems to Do The Right Thing.
