Hi Andy,

You could take the EDL and OMF to your Xpress and create an Avid Sequence for him that way (really long hand).  Other than using Medialog (I've never tried going from DS to another system (save Audio OMF export to ProTools).  As a finishing system DS isn't built well to play with others.

Thanks Rich, Jim & Marc. I didn't think there was a way. I love his comment when I sent him the EDL & OMF. He asked "Are they Avid Sequences. Never done it this way before."
We offered to do the finishing but they only wanted us to offline the videos while they add "their special touch" to it. Less for me to do.
Thanks again for the info.

It sounds like your producer doesn't really get it (He thinks that the DS is an Avid). If you have access to an Avid of any description, it may just be easier for you to import your DS EDL / OMF into the Avid to create a sequence that you can then send him - something that they could do themselves with what you have already sent.

Clients! - wouldn't the world be an easier place without them!

Howdy all,
I have been creating a bunch of little athlete vignettes for a show. The show's producer is wanting me to send them the Avid sequence. The edits were simple, 1 video track with no image effects, only cuts & dissolves & 2 audio tracks. I sent them an EDL & an OMF. He was not sure how to use them & was still asking for the sequence file. I am not sure what system he is on, I asked 2 times already wit no reply. I tried to save the sequence outside the project folder & of course it did not like it.
I'm on DS|HD vrs 6.02

Thanks in advance for any insight,
