Title: RE: AFE conform problems

This sounds similar to problems we've had during AFE conforms.  Random and intermittent black holes appearing in the
DS (7.6 QFE3) timeline where on the Avid  (NewsCutter & Xpress) offline sequence a legitimate clip is present.....

So I wonder if this indexing issue would even address it?  Since no media information even gets to the DS from the bad AFE.

Incidentally, these seem to occur either on transitions involving a push, or with some motion effect related to it.

also seeking a solution,
Brian

When and if this happens - it could very likely be an indexing issue -
go to "storage configuration", change, change, when inside don't change
anything just exit again. Now DS will reindex and very likely find the
    missing media in a minute.
    Good luck

Possibly related, I'm not sure. I've sent AFEs, both good and bad, to Avid along with bin files from the Adrenalines. Not sure where to go next. All I know is producers aren't happy, editors aren't happy and I'm bearing the brunt of it and am really, really not happy.
