I can tell you one thing that makes it unique for me…. EFFECT TREE…. That is the best one I know….   I love it.. I can not live without it…  but then comes to my mind all the things that is missing and the problems I have right now and all the time I loose with stupid things that are never going to be fixed and then I’m sad again….

And we do pop out and mention the good features amongsst ourelves occasionally....
and those things that work so well with DS...

compared especially to thrashing around on an arhaic old
stuffy mc.... till prefer even ds 3.01 to that....concept...

yuchhhh

not to say we should not try to keep please keep improving ds...
let this 64bit escapade be brief and then get back on the show please....

There's been a lot of rumour and conjecture on the list about the future of DS. Everyone is throwing jabs at Tewksbury saying "keep DS alive", but perhaps we should try a different approach.

 

Lets start telling Tewksbury everything we like about DS that isn't possible in the other products. What can easily be improved? Also, what new features would you like to see in DS that will continue to keep it ahead of Symphony? Tell Avid why you and your clients prefer DS?

 

This kind of healthy, positive discussion can go a long way to helping Avid better understand the marketplace and clients needs.
