so here's my issue, it's not in the D5, but the deck config window. My preset is saved for embedded, but only 4 channles come out, in the deck config, if i reset it to AES, wait...., then reset it to embedded, wait, change 4ch to 8ch, close the window, wait... then play. all 8 channels are coming out.
now i know, Paul had this issue a few months back, so what's the solution?

Hey Marc,
You & your engineers probably already looked, is tab C on the tape turned. That was my problem when I couldn't get 8 channels onto the tape. Easy oversight.

D5(3700) controller, and tried again. Same thing. We have an excellent engineering staff and they went over the D5 for an hour. Still no channels 5-8.
I've done a ton of work a various facilities doing 8 channels of audio, and as for the D5, I haven't seen this issue. The Sr used to have this in 7.6, but qfe2 fixed that.
Any ideas? Or is this something so simple I should go see an Eye Doctor?
