Jeffrey,
I was reffering to when clips are missing on the timeline.
Good you found something. :-)

No, this did not solve the issue. Somehow either during the DS conforms or during the Adrenaline encode of the AFE it is intermittently changing a tape source to file based. I'm thinking the indexing isn't helping because the timeline is looking for file based material, I cannot force it to see the media as tape based. It now wants a file.

Oh, I'm looking at the bins from the AFE (not the conformed bins) on the Adrenaline. I'm seeing that the source that has changed from tape-based to file-based is a sub-clip and that sub-clip has no tape name. May be on to something here! Anyone familiar with how sub-clips are created in Adrenaline? Perhaps a check box about maintaining tape source?

When and if this happens - it could very likely be an indexing issue - go to "storage configuration", change, change, when inside don't change anything just exit again. Now DS will reindex and very likely find the missing media in a minute.
Good luck
Andi
