releases and position for the future of AVID DS. Please
clarify the recent marketing statements which imply that AVID
Symphony Nitris is the AVID Flagship product above DS. Please
assure us that the long-term future of DS is a top priority among upper
management and development will continue during the immediate foreseeable
future.

represents the significant core of DS users who have invested untold hundreds
of thousands of dollars and hours of time in purchasing, learning
and operting the DS product and who have themselves; promoted, marketed and
