We as DS owners/operators, new and old alike, from across the globe do hereby request that AVID officially respond to this forum to state on the record it's long term commitment, development, upcoming releases and position for the future of AVID DS.  Please clarify the recent marketing statements which imply that AVID Symphony Nitris is the AVID Flagship product above DS.  Please assure us that the long-term future of DS is a top priority among upper management and development will continue during the immediate foreseeable future.

This forum represents the significant core of DS users who have invested untold hundreds of thousands of dollars and hours of time in purchasing, learning and operting the DS product and who have themselves; promoted, marketed and created brand loyalty by educating their client bases of the DS platform worldwide.

We respectfully request you address this forum to shed light on this growing and potentially devastating issue and we look forward to the benefit of your timely reply.
