Title: Re: If not DS... & Why do we DS to begin with?
Some of you I’ve had the great pleasure of meeting and working for so to avoid some embarrassment I might start my question of “why DS in the first place” with some of your answers in the past.

WHY DS IN THE FIRST PLACE...

  1. “It wasn’t a Mac”
  2. “It wasn’t an Avid”
  3. “It did / does HD”
  4. “Trees”
  5. “It is an Avid”
  6. “Swiss Army Knife”
  7. “Compositing”
  8. ?
  9. ?
  10. ?

Worst case scenario.  Let’s say that DS gets end-of lifed or goes in a direction that doesn’t help your company/workflow/bottom line or otherwise becomes a system with no future for you.

To which systems will you move?
