I was not aware of this. Thanks for that. I suppose it could be rationalized that they used the others to get Symp out the door. I'm certainly not defending Avid since I know nothing about the company. Our new DS is the first Avid product I've ever used. But from a newb perspective I see a lot of anger/disappointment without seeing some facts. I only take a stance when I have proof and was looking for some evidence.


Yes, 2 developers is not a good sign. But I'd like to believe the simplest theory though is not dissolution of the product but a "hitch in the get-a-long".

My main concern is not seeing DS leave, but Larry's point that the rate of features needed are quickly outgrowing the development.
