I witnessed that too. You used a very colorful descriptor.

Well -- I witnessed our dear product manager being a HUGE WEANIE in front of Tone and David Krall.  David asked "Do you have all the resources you need?"  And the product manager said, "Why yes, yes! We have everything we need, Mr. Krall."   That's the moment I gave up on Avid.

P.S. -- Tone correct me if my memory has wavered.

I was not aware of this. Thanks for that.   I suppose it could be
rationalized that they used the others to get Symp out the door.  I'm
certainly not defending Avid since I know nothing about the company.
Our new DS is the first Avid product I've ever used.  But from a newb
perspective I see a lot of anger/disappointment without seeing some
facts.   I only take a stance when I have proof and was looking for
some evidence.

Yes, 2 developers is not  a good sign.  But I'd like to believe the
simplest theory though is not dissolution of the product but a "hitch
in the get-a-long".

My main concern is not seeing DS leave, but Larry's point that the
rate of features needed are quickly outgrowing the development.
