This is what I came from (except Apple brand RAID and 23" displays).  Waaaay better off on DS.
Hi Chris, I realize that DS is better ( I just upgraded to Nitris a month ago ) but my answer stems from my current FCP suite which I cut on more and more for client budgetary reasons.  Since I am already up to spped, I could easily get much better on it rather than learn some other new system.  Quite frankly, cutting on FCP is "fun" because I am usually doing easy jobs, the kind I like to call " A Coke and a Hot Dog".

But that is what I would replace my DS if forced to.  Since my last DS lasted almost 7 years,  I don't seem forced to make that decision anytime soon.
