Hey, it worked for Andy Dufresne in The Shawshank Redemption...

Not that we're in a prison or anything...

PS

My point below is that it is much harder to disregard a hard copy on letterhead. Especially if sent via registered mail which only costs a few dollars. I have gotten responses to pressing matters this way after I have tired of trying email and endless, futile, telephone calls.

So.......everyone brush up your letter writing skill and send a hard copy to Avid addressing it to the President and to the Chairman of the board. Better yet send two letters.

I think at this point everyone that has submitted the "form" requesting a response should follow that up with a standard written mail letter to Avid repeating their request and address it to both the Chairman of the board and
the President of Avid. Use your company letterhead and be nice but firm. As the owner/user of an Avid system you have a right to know if the future of your product is on the drawing board.

Make it certified or registered mail for real effect. That way you know who signed for it. There are legal implications for not responding to a hard document versus an email forum.
