on several occasions i have attempted to use HD footage in a SD sequence for the purpose of a "fake" camera move or

CU or repo.  in every instance it has been soft.  i would be very interested if anyone has achieved acceptable results.

i've always had to use DVEs to get the HD into the desired position in the SD raster.  all of the DVE render settings

looked soft.

how would you know?  There is no grand list of what does or does not go
do that dance available in the doc.  Every time I have asked for one,
