actually they'll most likely ANNOUNCE ds8 at nab, but they won't
actually SHIP it until august.

I just LOVE this statement. This ALWAYS means, "Oh, we will actually
wait until NAB!"
It seems to me that for the past few years that when Avid says they
will have something within a 4 to 6 month period before NAB...they
just wait until NAB.
So, in other words...wait until NAB 06.
