All you need is 2 keyframes on opacity curve. 100% and 0% opacity. You
can use constant interpolation and make the keyframes loop indefinitelly
(I forgot the DS name for the latter). These animation curve functions
are available for any parameter that can be animated.

Subject: flashing text

hey everyone,

I have a newbie question about animating text. I need to create a
flashing red dot and rec to simulate looking through a viewfinder of a
camera. My initial though is to create those elements in the graphics
layout and then animate the opacity.
Is there a way to create an expression for the graphics elements or am I
stuck hand key framing this? Or is there a better way to approach this?

thanks
