Title: RE: what happened to this show? (crashes, failing to render, out of memory, etc)

I thought importing into graphics was the accepted way of getting stills
into a show without converting them to the project resolution.  But now
that you mention it I vaguely remember being told during training (1.5
years ago) that if you linked them they would come in at full rez.  I
guess that explains that.

Also, I had to make a custom preset that anyone could use, in any room, in any project that required a quicktime that existed on the network, so the only way it could be done without importing or linking, was to bring it in through the grpahics effect, then my tree was saved as a preset and immediately worked everywhere.
