Somebody in a thread following an Avid road show meeting in the past couple of weeks said the projected release date was in February.

I think it will be possible to run v8 on Equinox, but of course for the 64 bits, you’ll need a processor that support this feature.

Any news from version 8 or any other future version of DS, if any, are certainly going to be mention in the answer that we all wait from AVID.

Which is, by the way, starting to take a long time (the answer from AVID).

What is the saying: No news, good news?

I’m certain that’s what the air traffic controllers must be saying to themselves when an airplane doesn’t respond……..

Depends - release?? No.

Otherwise a Beta Version was running at NAB this past year on an AMD 64bit system - so some form of it exists.  Most likely will require a computer change to run it and rumor was that it will only run with Nitris hardware.  V7.6 will probably be the last version for Equinox.  Unless someone else has heard different.
