Not just Version 8 news that I am looking for...
It is taking a long time to respond to the list. It would be good to have a response before the end of year! If there were prior plans for post v8, marketing probably would have responded by now.
We still need to know if any significant features will be addressed past v8 or do we enter a "support til end of life scenerio".
I feel that Avid will earn more good faith and (possibly) keep customers by announcing an end of life plan rather than stringing us along with marketing talk.
Either way, lets hope that Steve McNeil and his team have the energy (and will) to subversively get some new things in V8....
