Thanks for everyones support one this topic....I've convinced them to
rent the deck for the HD output and the downconversions....Thank
goodness!!

Hopefully in V8 the downconversions will be acceptable...

The only thing I'm not actually positive of is if you're incurring a 
YUV->RGB->YUV conversion because of the reference movie.. which may or 
YUV->RGB->may
not be a problem.

Maybe Sylvain or someone can chime in and confirm/deny whether or not
when DS captures it's own reference movies, can it access the raw
component data or does the codec always give Windows an RGB frame which
DS then has to convert back?
