Yup.  It's only the first incarnation of trees and we all supposed that future development would improve things.

 

However... judging by Avid's deafening silence over the future of DS I think we can all guess where it's going.

Can anyone tell me if there is a faster way of linking the nodes. If I have 20 shots and I want them all to link to one master dve, do I have to right click and drag every parameter of every dve to the main dve I want to animate. So If I have translate, scale and z rotation, that is 5 parameters I need to link for 20 shots, I have to right click and drag 100 times ?

Oh crap, thanks guys, I was truly over think this.

 

How ever, I did get a similar result using a way more complicated method of

 

(Cos (input1*.9)*100) (but it is not as slick)

 

My god, I really can’t believe that I over thought this EASY solution

 

As someone very very smart (or at least smarter then me) once said

 

“The best solution to a complicated problem is generally the simplest one”

Hi all

  Just a quick bit of math needed (my brain is tired after the 3 hr drive
home in the snow last night)

I want to use an _expression_ to make a composite node have Input 1 go from a
value of 100 to 0 WHILE
Input 2 goes from a value of 0 to 100 (a transition)

I would like to do this with a "transition" input on my Master PPG composite
node (ie. I just want to set the opacity on the PPG at start to be 0 and at
end to be 100 and have the _expression_ change the input values on my main
composite node)

I hope that is fairly clear.

Input 2 on the main node is a straight copy from the Master PPG.
