It should work but ideally we suggest that you stick to non-drop frame for tape archiving.  There is just no point to stick to the real clock time for this purpose, plus you keep full timecode numbers.

Does it matter when doing a 59.94 1080i archive in DS if the archive 
is done Drop Frame VS. NDF?  I know from my other archives on other 
avids it must be NDF in order to line up should you need to 
reconstitute the project.  Any help PLEASE?
