I doubt it "supports" Dolby E. Perhaps it supports compatible multitrack
editing or perhaps you need Pro-Tools from Avid

Bill,

I just did a bit of searching on the Avid site and could not find that
info.  Other systems mention Dolby E preservation, but no editing ones.

Where did you  get this info?
