If you double-click the marker or right-click and select 
properties, you can add comments to the marker or change 
the color or position.

If you expand the audio track past a certain height, they 
will appear.  Unless there is no audio.

Make a new layout or edit your layout and drag the 
viewer/timeline splitter UP and you'll see more tracks.  I 
have several "editing" layouts with various size 
timeline/viewers.  My default is a huge timeline with very 
small viewer because I'm usually looking at the broadcast 
monitor for the video anyway.

Hold shift when you drag the effect to a toolbar and it 
will prompt you for a name.
