Tone,
I remember somewhere along the way at the last
place I worked when using an A500 there was an error with the VITC when the
deck was set to regen and so we always set the deck to internal, preset, and
free run and then the two timecodes matched. I know on Beta SP
the deck goes in regen. Had anyone else heard of this with early versions
of the A500? I just did an output to our A500 and the two
match.

in Regen not
Preset.
