I want to be able to create an effect whereby a white (or coloured) line outlines an actor on screen slowly over several seconds. I think that I may have to create a polyline around the actor, but how do I animate the white around the polyline? Or am I barking up the wrong tree and there is another way to do this...

 

Any help most appreciated.
