I'm trying defragging the video drive now just in case, but the audio
clip showed up as 1 fragment. Also, it's a captured stereo AIFF so
there's no container needed.

thingy to F1, but I'm not sure about the bias, whether they should both
be 1, or just play or record. Anything else to set?
